Making a Difference with Bright Future Forward

In the year 2017, I embarked on a new and transformative journey as part of my side activities, one that would forever change my perspective on social impact and community service. This was the year I joined the Bright Future Forward NGO (BFF), my first foray into the world of non-profit organizations, and it was a decision that would leave an indelible mark on my personal and professional life.

Stepping into the world of NGOs was a thrilling yet daunting experience. It was a domain I had always been curious about, and BFF provided the perfect entry point. As a newcomer, I began my journey as a normal member, eager to contribute my skills and learn from others. Thanks to my academic background in multimedia, I was soon assigned to the Bureau of Multimedia and Communications within BFF. This was a significant turning point as it allowed me to apply my skills in a meaningful way. Alongside my fellow members, I actively contributed to the rebranding of the entire non-profit organization, from redesigning the logo to creating impactful collaterals.

First meet with the leaders of Bright Future Forward

One of the unique aspects of BFF was its status as a newly established NGO. This presented me with the invaluable opportunity to participate in board meetings alongside the organization's leaders. This exposure taught me the intricacies of running an NGO, emphasizing how every decision must align with our primary goals and objectives. My dedication and contributions did not go unnoticed, and after more than a year as a normal member, I was honored with the title of President of the Bureau of Multimedia and Communications. This new role brought fresh challenges and responsibilities, including leading a team of passionate individuals. It was an opportunity that would help me hone my leadership and soft skills.

During my tenure as President, I had the privilege of spearheading the "CodePink 360" campaign, a transformative initiative designed to empower targeted women within our community. Collaborating with my team, I prepared a comprehensive blueprint for the campaign. It was an immensely rewarding experience to witness the impact our efforts had on the lives of these women. As my commitment to my academic pursuits intensified, I made the difficult decision to step back from my role within BFF. This was a bittersweet moment as I had grown attached to the organization and the meaningful work we were doing. However, it was a necessary choice to prioritize my education.

While I may no longer be officially attached to an NGO, the spirit of community service and corporate social responsibility continues to burn within me. I am committed to embarking on this journey at an individual level, using my skills and passion to make a positive impact in any way I can.

In closing, my journey with BFF was an exciting and empowering experience that broadened my horizons, enriched my life, and connected me with amazing individuals. I wholeheartedly encourage my friends and fellow young people to explore the world of volunteering and community service. It's an adventure that can not only make a difference in the lives of others but also bring about personal growth and fulfillment.
